Medicare Enrollment

If you’re nearing age 65, Medicare enrollment is just around the corner. Before you can begin the enrollment process, you need to be aware of the different enrollment periods available so you know which period would be best for you.

When Can I Enroll?

Many people are automatically enrolled in Medicare Part A and Part B, also known as Original Medicare. You can be automatically enrolled if you are receiving Social Security benefits. If you’re automatically enrolled, your Medicare coverage will start on the first day of the month you turn 65. If your birthday is on the first day of the month, your coverage will start on the first day of the previous month.

If you’re not automatically enrolled, you can take advantage of the Medicare enrollment periods available to you:

Enrolling in Medicare once you are eligible is the best choice so you can avoid paying late enrollment penalties.

By submitting this form, I agree to be contacted by a licensed insurance agent for the marketing of Medicare Insurance products (i.e., Medicare Advantage Plans (Part C), Prescription Drug Plans (Part D), and/or Medicare Supplement (Medigap) Products) and services.
